There are some curiously enduring stereotypes in the West when one thinks of ‘Asians’. Asia is a land mass that stretches from the Middle East through to Siberia, runs north of the Arctic Circle and down to the southern tip of Indonesia. It includes 52 nations and over 4 billion people of countless ethnicities and tribes and cultures. But… why do all asians look the same?

Are we all good at math? Can none of us get girls? Do we all turn red at the smell of alcohol, do we all wear glasses, do all asian women age better? Are we all that similar, and are we all that different?
